When I was driving to Pondicherry last year, I stopped the car to buy some cigarettes. This man was selling "Vada" in the nearby shop. He looked handsome for his age and looked attractive with the Naamam on the forehead. Incidently it is his 4th photo of his life as he recounted. First was when he got married. Then one for Ration Card and another for Voter ID Card. I have ordered a large print of this photo and planning give it to him when I go in that route next time.
It will be great to see his excitement and I am looking forward to that.

This was taken on a highway. Everything looked fresh on that day since it was a rainy season. Rain had just stopped when I took this photo and the sun came out. Due to the rains the sun had a unique lighting effect on the sky. The blue of the sky was very rich that day.

This was also taken on the same day. I have a fascination for water bodies in general. This had a special look and feel on that day.

Again on a highway. The tree with the sky for the background and the reflection on the water caught my eye. One regret for me when I take such photos are the presence of electrical wires, posts, mobile phone towers etc which destract the beauty of the nature. Can't help. Can I?

This was taken from under a bridge. The plant on the bridge looked even better in real.

This was taken from under a bridge. It is a simple plant on the bridge but looked completely different from this angle. It shows that for everything ( or everyone? ) there is a beautiful angle.

I have a fascination for trains and train tracks. (Who doesn't?) I took this photo when I was waiting in a level crossing, waiting for the train to cross.

Some children in a village on the way. Spent some time there and left wondering what the future holds for them.

This was taken in a bird sanctuary. This is the watch tower. The color mix of the scene attracted me. The blue tower against the blue sky. The green grass contrasting the blues.
